Indian Idol Academy is an initiative by brand Idol owner Fremantle Media and KarmYog Education Network Pvt.Ltd. KarmYog Education Network has a unique capacity to deliverscalable and extraordinary learning experiences using media and technology. It has been in this field for over 17 years.
The Academy provides children access to music, singing and performance training, learning from major music legends with the most direct access possible in a classroom setting. The Academy instills a deep love of music in all children, increases their confidence, and improves their ability to focus. The initial programs of the academy provide basic music education to all children. More advanced programs are available to children who have talent and motivation to study advanced singing. All programs are targeted at children in the age group of 5 to 28 years.
Academy campus includes brick-and-mortar learning centers as well as technology-enabled devices and mediums that are used to provide specific kinds of learning experiences. The course structure has been designed by an academic council led by eminent music celebrities like Hariharan, Salim Merchant, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik, Anand Sharma (Chief Music Mentor of Indian Idol Shows), Satish Dutt (Executive Producer and Director of Indian Idol shows), Anupama Mandloi (CEO Freemantle Media) and dedicated Team of Freemantle Media (Owners of Indian Idol and India Got Talent), Bickram Ghosh (Tabla Maestro) who also deliver their wisdom to the children. Children from all over the country receive similar learning from the stars
