Q1. Elaborate about the journey of your brand Wobot Labs?
After finishing my Undergraduate from Purdue University in U.S.A and my MBA from Spain, I worked in Germany and various parts of Europe in the manufacturing & finance sector.

During my years in Germany, I noticed that a lot of businesses in Europe were sticklers for ‘processes’, which helped them execute projects and daily tasks very efficiently. After working with them for many years, I had ‘processes’ engraved in my mind. After I came back to India, I noticed that, that is exactly what we as a society had lacking. Indian businesses were managing to stay afloat without having any standard practices or work processes infused in their daily routines.

Therefore, I thought that this is an area where I can make an astounding impact, and help steer Indian businesses to a well managed, process oriented; working environment.

Hence, the idea of “Wobot” took birth.

Q2. What all services you provide?
We are a ‘Work Management Platform’ that helps businesses digitize & standardize their daily processes.

We have come up with team specific templates with many precise features to fulfill the requirements of any and all business types.
For example, our various templates contain features like:

  • Task Management – Send tasks to any of your employees on/off the field with a click of a button and see them perform those tasks in a particular flow (based on the template selected).
  • Chat & Share files: – Use our task & team based chat, for file sharing & internal communication.
  • Data Management – Store all of your employee and customer contact information on-the-cloud without them eating up any of your computer’s storage capability.
  • Data Analysis – Get in-depth analysis of all of the aspects of your business in one go. This analyzed data gives the information to the user in the form of graphs and charts, making it easier to understand and letting the user get the most out of his/her business.
  • Customer Interaction – Using this feature, you will be able to keep your customers involved and informed at every step of the way, using automated SMS’s and E-mails; making them feel more comfortable working with you.

Q3. What is the USP of your Services?
Our USP is that we are a one-stop solution to run your various business processes on one platform.  We cater to many different departments and teams in an organization, with specific fields and features; made especially for them, after conducting long & arduous market and user research.

Q4. What are your expansion plans?
Wobot’s expansion plans can be categorised into two main categories:

  1. Technology Based Plan – We are currently in the process of expanding our native templates for different teams and processes. Shortly after which, we will build software developer kits for all budding developers to come in and make more templates according to market demand. Essentially, we will be creating a marketplace between developers and companies. This will offer more number of process templates to companies as well as provide an additional income stream to budding developers.
  2. Business development Plan – We are currently servicing businesses all over India from F&B to retail to even financial lease companies, and will soon be opening business development offices in other locations as well; to be able to serve other parts of the world with our platform.

Q5. What kind of training and support do you provide to your Vendors?
We provide a 24 hour email support (support@wobot.in), as well as a 9:00am to 6:00pm phone support (011 – 29554840) to all of our current or potential customers. We also provide product training in the form of Product demos given through screen-sharing software’s. Lastly for enterprise customers, we provide a comprehensive 35 hour on ground training.

Apart from all of this, we have a YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLIWaP6LGt84cSiyO93333g/videos), where we have uploaded various product overview as well as tutorial videos; to help our customer answer all of their support related questions.

Q6. What are your thoughts on the Market that you service?
The market, that we cater to, can be broadly divided into SMB’s and consumer internet companies. Both these categories require backend technology to manage their operations.

We have tailored our product after conducting many months worth of diligent market, user, and product related research. What we realized was that from SMB’s to consumer Internet companies, all of them crave a one stop work process solution which is easy to implement without any IT department involvement. While there are several vertical solutions, the market is now demanding for horizontal enterprise technology for unified communication within a team as well as between different teams.

Without such a solution, we see a lot of businesses use a mixture of paper; excel sheet, e-mails, whatsapp and certain vertical, clunky process oriented software’s.

We want to consolidate such scattered communication and provide a channel for structured work communication.

Q7. Where can you see Wobot in the next five years time?
We see Wobot as a leader in the unified work communication market. Over the next five years, our vision is to:

  1. Set up worldwide R&D facility to create new products that will further improve back-end processes of consumer services companies.
  1. Set up a global incubator program to fund innovative enterprise solution startups working on AI, machine learning, chat bots etc.
