Q. 1. Brief us about Turkish Ice Cream (TIC) and what inspired you to start it?
Turkish Ice Cream is a refreshing way to enjoy ice cream. Our ice cream doesn’t melt easily so people can enjoy it for a longer period of time. TIC also is more about chewing and not licking. We provide an everlasting ice cream experience to our customers. The inspiration behind Turkish Ice Cream was our passion to connect with everyone who has a sweet tooth and wanted something more exciting out of an ice cream.

Q.2. What has been the most difficult aspect of getting your brand off the ground and how did you overcome that?
Ice creams melt very easily. We wanted to create ones which did not. Our researchers and chefs did a lot of hard work in coming up with the concept and finally made a breakthrough in the organic recipe, originally from Turkey. Also, it was very difficult to change the habit of licking of ice cream to chewing. There was the risk of disappointing people. But, our enticing ingredients and flavours did the magic and TIC has become greatly popular.

Q.3. What is Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of Turkish Ice Cream? How is your brand different from your competitors?
Our ice creams do not melt easily so people can take their time in enjoying it. Also, our ice creams are chewed, not licked. It’s a refreshing touch for ice cream lovers. Turkish Ice Cream is a different experience. Right from its making to the final presentation, it’s a wonder.

TIC is present in two locations in India and is expanding rapidly.
