Mr.Vamsi Krishna, CEO, of Chaai Resto talks about the growth and story behind Liberty, a pioneer brand in cafe industry in India. With the insight over franchise Industry, Mr.Krishna showed the road ahead for Liberty with successful franchise model in head.

Q1.Can we start with an overview of your brand; and what inspired you to start Chaai Resto.

Chaai Resto is a new age Concept Cafe & Fast Food retail store that seeks to redefine successful food retailing in India by offering consumers “Fresh, Healthy, and Tasty Indian Food at affordable Price”

Chaai Resto seeks to re-create the traditional Indian culture of “celebrating life’s special moments with friends colleagues & family through a nice cup of chaai and Authentic Indian food”. We do so by serving our signature traditional flavors of chaai and food like Poha, Parathas & Samosas etc.,

We saw many western fast food concepts expanding world wide. Indian food cuisine has a lot potential and acceptance. We have planned the Menu which is most accepted and which could be replicated world wide. This is how ChaaiResto started.

Q2. What has been the most difficult aspect of getting your brand off the ground and how did you overcome that?

As per the our strategy, we first focussed on giving our services to IT and ITes clients. It took time for us to convince big clients. We have accepted small challenges initially and slowly we built our portfolio which includes clients like HP, Siemens, Allscripts etc., Maintaining the clients consistently requires microscopic focus in many aspects like Product Taste Consistency, Hygiene & manpower grooming e.t.c., This was our challenge. We learnt so many things in this journey which are really helpful for us in the coming future. Now we are an accepted Brand in the market. When we are able to convince MNC’s with our services, we feel confident that we can convince individuals with our unique services.

Q3.What is the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of the brand? How is your brand different from your competitors?

25 varieties of traditionally brewed chaai is our USP. Chaai Resto Targets almost round the clock timings. We have items that could be had from morning to night. Like if we consider Chaai, Paratha or Poha, People would love to have these any time, from morning to night.

It is a pure Indian Cafe Concept.

Q4. Where have you marked your presence in India till date?
Bangalore and Hyderabad

Q5. What kind of backend and frontend support you would provide to your franchisees

We treat our Franchisee as an outlet partner. As our Brand name is being used, we would help franchisee to make the business fly in all the minute extents. Outlet Set Up, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Training & Recruitment, Marketing would be handled by us.

Q6. Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years and what are your future strategies?

We would like to make an impact in the global arena. We firmly believe that Indian cuisine has a great acceptance and we would like to tap this opportunity and make our brand an International Brand in the next 5 years.
