Thank you for your interest in becoming a Smokin’ Joe’s franchisee. We take great pleasure in giving you an introduction to our world in the following pages. And as these pages unfold, we hope they will give you a brief picture of what exciting times lie ahead.
As our franchisee, you can pick from either of the two models we have.
Model 1: Basically a home delivery unit. A limited seating of up to 20 covers. Minimum space required will be 500 sq. ft., including the kitchen. In this model home delivery sales account for about 80% + restaurant and take away about 20% of total sales.
Model 2: A restaurant model with minimum seating of 50 covers. Minimum space required will be approximately 800 - 1000 sq. ft., including the kitchen. In this model restaurant sales will be about 50% and home delivery 50%.

In the early 90s, young Parsi entrepreneurs realised the potential for home delivery of pizzas. From the outset, they wanted to set extremely high standards that would be supplemented by a wide variety of toppings - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian - a combination they were sure would appeal to today’s youth.
With this objective in mind, they engaged the services of a reputed chef with years of experience working in 5 star hotels in India and abroad. And soon, the first Smokin’ Joe’s outlet opened at Carmichael Road in Mumbai on July 21, 1993. From day one, their product and service met with resounding success. And when anybody talked of pizzas in the city, they talked of Smokin’ Joe’s. Naturally, it wasn’t long before 60 outlets sprung up in Mumbai as well as other cities like Pune, Surat, Nasik, Lonavla, Goa, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Yamuna Nagar, Srinagar, Jammu & Hubli.
Now, having withstood multinational and local competition over the years, Smokin’ Joe’s is looking to expanding operations all over the country. A dream we hope to convert into reality with the help of our franchisee partners.
