IHC- India Hospitality Corporation has acquired the franchise for Pizza Hut
\nbrand for central Indiafrom its current owner. IHC has made significant investments in the hospitality
\nbusiness, restaurant & food brands in India. It has also announced a
\npartnership with EWPL to lease and manage the latter’s hotels and F&B
\noutlets across various malls in Tier I and Tier IIcities across the country.
\nIHC also continues to hold talks with some of the most visible global food and
\nhospitality brands that are eyeing entry into the Indian market.
\nAs per the officials, in the first phase, IHC will invest Rs 100 crore for
\nthis purpose. This deal has been done via IHC subsidiary Gordon House Estates
\n(GHEPL) and also involves EWDPL acquiring a 15% stake in GHEPL. IHC’s
\nmulti-brand food business includes ‘Not Just Jazz By The Bay’ and ‘Dosa Diner’
\nbrands; it also owns the country’s largest airline catering business called
