Not only this, the industry has capability of touching the mark of USD 3.5 billion in the next three years. <\/p>\n<p>The report by the Indian Salon Report 2013 said that the &#8220;Indian Salon industry stands at a staggering USD 2 billion mark and is expected to touch USD 3.5 billion by 2015&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>According to the report currently India comprises 25 per cent of organised salon market, which will increase its share to 30 per cent by 2015. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Indian Salon franchise ecosystem today has a support of over 5,000 salon franchisees. Franchise salons will stand to cover 25 per cent of the overall organised industry by 2015 and will grow to be more than USD 1 billion,&#8221; the report said. <\/p>\n<p>According to the report, 61 per cent of males and 54 per cent of females are visiting salon on a monthly basis and spending more than 60 per cent of the respondents spending between Rs 1,000-2,000 on beauty services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salon industry in India is currently standing at an astounding position with overall figure touching USD 2 billion, as studied by the Indian Salon Report 2013.
