The school has been built in association with DSR Educational Society, an educational arm of Hyderabad-based DSR Group.<\/p>\n<p>Birla Edutech Limited\u00a0has three main educational initiatives namely Shloka, Open Minds and Globe Tot&#8217;ers. While Shloka and Open Minds are meant for students at the primary and higher secondary level, Globe Tot&#8217;ers is a preschool.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of the 50 schools we are planning to launch in the next three years, 10 will be Open Minds and the rest will be Shloka,&#8221; Birla Edutech chief executive officer Vijay Mishra said.<\/p>\n<p>Mishra explained that Open Minds caters to metros while Shlokas are meant for tier 2 and tier 3 cities in the country.<\/p>\n<p>He said, if one sets aside the cost of land, it takes an investment of around Rs 35-50 crore to set up an Open Minds school while Shloka requires Rs 20-30 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The company has 15 schools in the country and is also planning to set up schools in foreign locations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have got queries from Malaysia and Singapore but there are no concrete plans as such. It is at a very initial stage,&#8221; Birla said.<\/p>\n<p>Talking about the future plans, he said, &#8220;We also plan to enter the higher education area.
