Fitness centres to shape your future success

1. Can we start with an overview of SFL Fitness and what inspired you to start it?

SFL Fitness is devoted to fitness and rigorous energy. We are on a mission to make India fit and active. We provide our members a wide range of services such as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), quality gymming, top of the line equipment and certified trainers to give a challenging fitness experience. The idea was simple: to help people get out of their boring and stressful life and help them stay fit and healthy.

Q.2. What has been the most difficult aspect of getting your brand off the ground and how did you overcome that?

In India, the gym and fitness concept is associated with only traditional workout. We wanted people to see beyond that. Of course it was difficult because Indians are already very busy in their work life. SFL’s broadcasting on ESPN worked very well. People started getting a lot of interest in SFL and MMA. We leveraged celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty and Sanjay Dutt to explain the importance of self-defence and fitness. It worked favourably for us.

Q.3. What is Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of SFL Fitness? How is your brand different from your competitors?

I don’t think anyone in India offers the fitness choices that we do. We have a complete fitness oriented solution for fitness enthusiasts. MMA, Gym, Fitness Trainers and Health Cafes are some of our outstanding services for our members.

Q.4. Where have you marked your presence in India till date?

SFL Fitness is in huge demand so we are into the final stage of opening our fitness clubs in multiple locations in Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur.

In 5 years, SFL Fitness wants to create a fitness revolution. We want people to give priority to exercise over a stressful work life. Therefore, we aim to open our clubs in all the major cities. We want to increase our membership with celebrity tie ups.
