E-retailing for men in India is gaining pace

The appetite for fashionable clothes and accessories among men has driven online shop markets to a high level. By conveniently cutting off the travelling time for shopping, online retailing for men has able to attract a good footfall of customers. According to report by industry lobby ASSOCHAM, the online retail industry in India is likely to be worth Rs.7,000 crore by 2015 and the credit goes to easy internet access and availability of broadband services.

The survey conducted by ASSOCHAM Social Development Foundation (ASDF) is based on interactions with 500 shoppers in the age group of 16 to 35 years in 10 cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Jaipur.

E-shopping in India is catching up with the needs of today’s fast growing lifestyles. For work-loaded men, e-retailing has become an easy click option.
