Bollywood actor turned entrepreneur John Abraham has recently knot partnership with British boxing legend, David Haye, to start a fitness franchise in the country that focuses on the art of boxing.
John said, “The concept stemmed from David when we were having dinner together. He wanted to do something unique in India. And since boxing is his forte, I jumped at the very idea,” adding excitedly: “It’s fair to say that I want to make the John Abraham brand bigger, and do something revolutionary as well as meaningful in this country as far as both fitness and films are concerned.” The logistics of this project, christened JA Haymakers, will take at least a year to be finalised. Initially, there will be two fitness centres; one operating out of SoBo and the other based in the western suburbs. Depending on the response, the franchise would be taken to other parts of the city.
