Start by telling us why have you picked this sector, and how has your journey been so far?

I am Sreenivas Nagireddy, Founder & Managing Director of Jyorana International Pvt. Ltd. (Brand name: Jyorana). Jyorana is a world class Sports Nutrition and Health Supplements company.

As fitness Centres, Sports Academies, Health & Wellness institutes are growing rapidly, Jyorana aimed exclusively to provide cost effective right Nutrition’s or Supplements to Sports Personalities, Fitness enthusiast and Health conscious people, who are seeking maximum efficiency, Healthy and Fit body.

Tell us about the USP of your brand and where do you see yourself in next 5 years?

Most of the products available in the Indian market are not genuine; we at Jyorana have ensured that we give the customers, products with the best technical knowledge and quality. All our ingredients are sourced internationally thereby assuring you of quality & consistency.

The international brands are extremely expensive due to the high duty structure in India for Imports and we at Jyorana are trying to bridge this gap by getting you a product, whose ingredients are imported from International markets and is Made for India. Jyorana target is to geographically spread itself over the Metros, Cities and Towns in PAN india.

How long was the business operating before it became a franchise network and how long has the business been franchised?

Approx since 14 years in Health Supplements and Sports Nutrition industry. Currently franchising the brand Jyorana, which involves setup of Franchise Channel Sales Partner, by allocating them a specific territory of city or town, which having 50-100 Fitness Centres.

What are the criteria for choosing a franchise and what are your expectations out of it?

Any individual person having bike and with less investment can start this business. Franchise Partner will sell products to consumers through Fitness Centres, Sports Academies, Trainers, Coaches, and Physicians etc.

Outlet location should be anywhere at commercial Place of Floor area 150 Sft. with basic company statutory infrastructure.

Quick Service: Against Order, delivery service to be provided to the consumers.

What kind of training and support do you offer to the franchise?

Jyorana will play a supportive and role of coach to the franchisee in running the business such as providing entire business model, Technical Knowledge of Products, Marketing Strategy and Training .

Jyorana will conduct Fitness events, Sampling and workshops at franchisee territory in regular interval, which helps franchisee to acquire more consumer base.

How do you see the future of the industry you are in and what are your future strategies?

Growing demand for Food Supplement market in India is expected CAGR of 20% from 2017 to 2024. Vitamins and minerals occupies a larger share of the pie in the Indian dietary supplements market 40%, followed by the herbal segment contributing 30%, proteins segment contributing 25% and other segments contributing around 5% of the total market.

The urban population in India that resides in metro cities predominantly consumes protein supplements. Cardiac, anti-diabetic, dermatology, vaccines, vitamins, minerals and nutrients are the fastest growing segments in the dietary supplements market.
The primary factor driving the Indian dietary supplements market is the increasing health consciousness among the consumers. Factors such as changes in eating habits, absence of physical activity and rising sedentary lifestyles have increased the occurrences of various lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, cardiovascular problems, etc. Moreover, improving awareness levels have also made consumers more aware of their nutritional requirements. With consumers unable to fulfil their nutritional requirements through their regular diets, they are recognizing the importance of nutritional supplements to fulfil their nutritional gaps. Other factors driving this market include rising disposable incomes, up gradation of the healthcare infrastructure, improving distribution networks, etc

Jyorana not only targeting to spread itself geographically over the Metros, Cities and Towns in PAN India, It also Ventured into expanding the reach of the brand into international markets. It’s currently in the process of implementing the same.

Any individual person having bike and with an investment of  3,00,000/- can start this business. Our business model is not completely retail outlet kind of thing, Here we use customer base of Fitness Centres, Sports Academies and other Wellness institutes by approaching & making formal tie-up with them.

In association with Trainers, Coaches and Health Practitioners we conduct events, sampling and workshops in regular interval at franchise territory, such that more consumers will own our products. Against Order, delivery service is also to be provided to the consumers.
