I am Jagdish, Managing Director of Corpbite (Multiple food franchise) unit of MGJ restaurant. I hold Degree in hotel management.
I have almost 20 years experience in hospitality. I started my career from ITC group of hotel in India (3 Years).I worked as Act Food & Beverage Manager in Middle East (2 Years).
Since 2007 till 2018 I was opening team member of food & Beverage outlets in New Zealand. I was in charge & Running more than 15 outlets.
I came to India with the long vision to establish my own food brands. I have 11 brands as of now, which is going very good & getting popular day by day. We are spreading rapidly in pan India.
All of our brands has eye catching interior and has unique concept. We believe in giving quality food & service.
For our investor (franchise) we are offering them good ROI. Our vision is to build more than 500 outlets by 2022. Good thing is this franchise and our customer both are very happy so far we will try to maintain this.

Our brand names are as follows:-
Chotu chaiwalah– Selling more than 35 variety of tea a part of regular tea our most selling tea are Mardo wali Chai, mummi kai hath wali chai, dosto wali chai etc.
Chaat House– We have brought all famous chaat of India, more than 30 famous chaat like basket chaat from Lucknow, all from Delhi, Mumbai, Meerut, Varanasi etc.
Unlimited 24– Street food/ starter/ mains has choice of buy portion wise or pay for unlimited price and may have unlimited portion.
Motulal Bhaturewalah– (Dusro ki biwi aur motulal kai bhature sabko aache lagte hai) famous street food of India like chole bhature, pav bhaji, kachori aloo ki sabzi, chole chawal etc.
Kebab 24– Variety of kebabs, handi biryani, handi chicken in rich mughalai gravy live kebab and curry option.

How long was the business operating before it became a franchise network and how long has the business been franchised?
Approx 20 Year in Hospitality ( 3-4 year in ITC Hotel leading Hotels in india 2 years in Middleeast, 13 years in New Zealand.
What are the criteria for choosing a franchise and what are your expectations out of it?
More than a business investor we are looking for a business partner, we want our franchise has good sense of business, understand the ups n down and must have long vision. we want him to understand that how important is building up relation, and that all will come with the long vision/transparency/understanding/honesty and trust.
What kind of training and support do you offer to the franchise?
We work on FOCO & FOFO both Model. in both models we pass all the information/ documentation from time to time, we weekly update them for day to day operation as well as we do monthly meeting where we cover all the planning/issue/promotion and all the issue. we gave all the information to our client as much as we have.
How do you see the future of the industry you are in and what are your future strategies?
There is no doubt food business has huge potential as of now we are behind 6% of the requirement of the business.
Right now, Indian Food Services (Restaurants and Food Delivery) is a US$ 50 billion industry as compared to the US Food Services industry, which is worth around US$ 600 billion easily.
In 2019, we will also see unicorns from the food domain. India is at the end of a great explosion in food-tech and services, with big dine-in, delivery and food aggregators becoming unicorns. There are going to be lots of big winners and excitement in the food services sector in India and worldwide, in the process bringing lots of better food choices and service to consumers. we future strategies id just focusing on brand quality only.
