SharesTrac was started in 1994 as Propreitorship firm by Arunnagshu M Lahiri. It established a series of shareshoppe in Kolkata where investors could buy and sell stocks on both BSE and NSE. The firm was a sub-broker under Shriram Investments Ltd. Later it branched out in providing technical analysis and advice to brokers, HNIs and later to Intraday traders. It started training on Intraday trading from 2003.
